At The Crayon Initiative, we are always thinking outside the box to improve our process for our supporters that help bring smiles to children in hospitals through providing crayons. From those that donate money, organize crayon drives, or ship in boxes of crayons that would have ended up in landfills, we want to make it even easier for you to be a part of our mission to brighten the lives of children by making their lives a little more colorful.

After months of dedicated work, we are excited to announce the launch of our new website on Friday, February 25th, 2021. In an effort to improve the website, we wanted to make it easier to navigate for a more user friendly experience. Here are some features of the website you won’t want to miss!

All monetary donation options have been consolidated under “Give Money.” This page provides a variety of ways for people like you to give to The Crayon Initiative. These options include:

Online and mail in donations
Fundraising (including a step by step guide!)

Collecting and Volunteering

Another contribution that we appreciate from our supporters is collecting and sending in crayons. The “Collect” page is now under “Give Crayons.” Each type of contributor, from restaurants to groups in your community, have access to downloadable playbooks to help make the process as easy as possible!

From business fun-raisers to parties, fun ways to volunteer are now found under “Give Time.” Be proactive by taking advantage of our free, downloadable leave-behind cards, and find ways to be a Crayon Advocate!

Lastly, The Color Initiative is thrilled to share our new and improved store! From our awesome swag in the form of hats and hoodies, to leave-behind cards and collection supplies, this is the one-stop shop for everything TCI.
